About Ross Tennis Centre
Ross Tennis Centre (RTC) was established in 1987 to offer great tennis facilities for the residents and visitors of Ross-on-Wye and the surrounding area. It is a thriving place, with many members and non-members of all ages playing regularly. RTC is a fully registered member of the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) which recognises good standards and best practice at tennis venues in Britain. RTC is a member of the Herefordshire & WorcestershireLTA (H&WLTA) and has five teams competing in the H&WLTA leagues.
The facilities include four floodlit tarmacadam tennis courts, which are available all year round from 8.00am to 10.00pm. The Pavilion has a wheelchair access toilet, shower/changing and tea/coffee making facilities which can be accessed by members.
Membership of RTC enables individuals to join the LTA Advantage programme which provides access to the LTA Advantage Wimbledon ballot and a licence and rating to compete.
Non-members are most welcome to play at Ross Tennis Centre. They must reserve and pay for the court using the bookings tab on the website and can book Courts 3 and 4. Alternatively, if one of those courts is available they may put the court fee (£10 per hour) in a marked envelope in the letterbox of the Pavilion. However, if someone who has already booked a court online turns up, the newcomer must surrender it.
